Freak your melon!
So today was one of the most amazing days of my life.
It was literally awe inspiring!

So I went to Bumbershoot. I went with my mom two of her friends from law school and their kids. At first I felt like because I was the oldest I would be baby sitting the entire time but it wasnt that bad.
The first thing I wanted to see was this film called "Freak your Melon" I had no idea what it was about...however, the line was extremely long so we ended up copping out...
It was POURING when we left the theatre! It hasn't rained in a while so I was thrilled! I got to walk around and get soaked!
Next band I wanted to see was Mofro. It was still raining though not as hard, but it was a stage outside with just a tarp covering over it. So, it was a huge safety hazard for the band to play. We waited for an hour to see if they would play, and the rain started to let up so they did!!!
It was one of the best concerts I have been to. It was phenominal! The songs I did know were even MORE amazing then on the CD, and the improvising was orgasmic! The singer guy was crazy good at harmonica and the organ (i think it was an organ) guy was fabulous too! Everything was amazing...but that is not it!!!

I LOVE the rain.
That was my favorite part.
I was soaked...and I didn't give a shit. My pants were soaked through, my jacket, my shirt, my bra was even wet! The rain dripping down my face and dripping from my hair with this amzaing music playing...I was content and completely comfortable with myself at that moment. Nothing mattered. Just the music, feeling the rain, nature, and me.
It was euphoria.
I felt like I was solely myself. Nobody's influence, nobody's beliefs, nobody's object, nobody's stereotype, nobody's anything could touch me. I was just me.
And it was pure bliss. =)
