Geez, it just gets worse, doesn't it? I can't believe the whole city has to leave...how is this going to happen? Between the looters and the water, what will there be to come back to? I've been very preoccupied with what's going on, a lot of the Australians just don't seem to understand...(although I do live in an area that has no natural disasters, so I guess I can't expect them to care as much as I do. Thanks Shannon, for your comment! :)
It has been in the top stories every evening on the news, but actual footage of the area is rare. I'm really glad LJ exists, it's been invaluable to me for up-to-date news, and seeing that my friends are safe and sound...
Anyone know where Alison Fensterstock is?
