The Rains Came
As you might have heard we had a few days - MANY days! - of rain here in Los Angeles.
It started slowly - this was the first sign that things were going be rough...
The Sunday when Joe and I went to Peter's chorus concert showed us what the week was going to be.... Just a steady and hard downpour.... nonstop.
As I stated before, the concert itself was stunning - both joyous and emotional. But this is what we looked like trying to get to the concert...
Eventually, the storm was in full swing. Getting to work was a little easier for some reason - somehow the morning traffic let up - I am guessing they knew I was I was coming. The rain during the day was steady but not crazy. That came for the drive home when the storms just hit hard.
The Arroyo was flooded.
All we kept hearing was...the worse was yet to come!
