It's A Stevie Wonderful Life
Sunday afternoon a bunch of went to see It's A Stevie Wonderful Life at the Falcon Theater in Burbank. If you've never seen a show by the Troubadour Theater Company, what are you wating for? They're a wild mixture of acrobatics, topical humor, self-referential humor, slapstick and good old rock and roll - mixed sometimes with Shakespeare, sometimes a classic holiday show.
Starting with a clever riff on the Arclight cinermas, my favorite bits of this show included Mr Potter mumbling incoherently about... everything it seemed; Little Timmy "overacting" and screaming "STELLA!!" for no reason except TO overact; Zuzu getting drunk off Nyquil, and slurring the classic line "Every time a bell rings an angel gets his wings..."
The shows are constant joy. Next time they are in town... GO!
