a day in the life of laila (my cat)
6 am asleep with francesca
7 am sleep cont'd
8am wake up, meow out of hunger and wake up francesca by sticking my nose in her face and jumping off of high furniture to make noise until she feeds me. go back to sleep when she goes back to sleep.
9am attempt to drink from the toilet until somebody notices and shuts it.
10am preening, back to sleep on francesca's bed.
11am attempt to get under the eves by standing curiously outside the door with my head cocked until realizing that there is no feasable entry unless somebody opens the door, which they haven't done yet. fall back asleep on the couch.
12noon wake up and eat a little bit more, fall back asleep under the christmas tree.
1pm christmas tree nap cont'd.
2pm christmas tree nap cont'd.
3pm pounce outside when somebody opens the front door. meander pointlessly around the property.
4pm meow outside the front door until somebody opens it. sit by ever heater vent in the house for 5-10 minutes per vent.
5 pm time to be frisky for 10 minutes. dart from room to room and down the hallways until tired. then nap on the kitchen table windowseat.
6 pm witness dinner on the kitchen windowseat. briefly wake up.
7 pm time to make calls. snuggle up to everybody in the house that is doing something idle, i.e. watching tv, reading, talking on the phone etc.
8 pm snuggle time cont'd
9 pm another nap under the christmas tree
10 pm nap cont'd
11 pm move to sleeping with the first person who has gotten into bed, probz mom
12 am sleep cont'd
1 am wake up, mosy around the house and then sleep with francesca
2 am sleep cont'd
3 am sleep cont'd
4 am move to sleeping with another available person for a while to spice things up
