some things are free, and some are not so free.

Sometimes I wonder if I don't have a problem.

Here's a quick story about me. Regardless of how many punk shows my bands have played in the past, and regardless of my current band, at my core I am an electronic musician. However, I'm a very POOR electronic musician. this leaves me with a smattering of second hand equipment, half of which is busted. I really want to start recording my solo stuff again, but just haven't had enough (working) equipment to do it. For instance: No speakers make it hard to hear your music. 1 or 2 cheap keyboards make it hard to write anything unless you can record multi-track, which I typically can't right now. The list goes on...

Anyway, I've been trying to change all that. A while back I got a really nice mixer, then a few months later a nice sampler. About a year later (just last night) I finally got a decent workhorse synth that I can really use.

Unfortunately, it costs more money than I should really spend. You know how it is... there's ton's of "money" in your bank account, but according to the check book you're broke. You're REALLY not supposed to take "money" out of your bank account unless your check book says you can. Otherwise, someone's going to be very pissed when your check bounces.

Hopefully I can get some screen printing orders in the next few days to help pay off this new debt.

I'm in Seattle. I don't charge a lot and the work is good quality. SEND ME SOME BIZZNIS!

Oh yeah. For fun, I'm playing the get-a-free-ipod game to see if it really works. According to Wired magazine, it does. So, what the heck? I'm using my old spam-catcher email account, so it's not really that big of a deal. Check it out:
