Trying something I havent done in a while
Well, here it goes. The elusive update from me. I realized today that I havent posted anything on here that hasnt been for the zine in quite some time, so here it is.
I am moving next week (DEC 1st) at the most hellish time possible. Stupid winter moves, makes me long for the days of enforced by university residence may 1st moving dates. Way better that way. Well, warmer, I dont know if it is actually better. I am moving into an apartment with my girlfriend where we shall live (I hope) happily for hopefully longer than the term of a single lease agreement. As much fun as it is to SAY im nomadic, the practice of such nomadic lifestyle tends to get on the nerves.
My puppy will be moving up into the new apartment about 2 weeks after we move in, so that is very exciting for me. I have had a dog my whole life with the exception of the time I have spent in toronto, and I miss the whole experience. Yes even walking it in the dead of winter. So yay for that. I am naming him Hunter (you all know why) and he is an australian shepherd/springer spaniel cross with a little bit of border collie thrown in for good measure. He is brown and warm, and I love him already.
Aside from that, I am saddled with X-Mas music at Indigo, which bites. At the chess shop I get to play what I want, which right now consists of Neil Young and Bruce Springsteen, so at least there is some respite from this stupid holiday we are heading full steam for.
