8.936 miles in 44:16 today, with an average speed of 12.1 mph. Had a bit of a tailbreeze coming down the longish hill on my way home today so I decided to see how fast I could go: maxed out at 28.5 for about three seconds before I started coasting.
(In other trivia-of-no-interest-to-myself notes, my odometer ticked over 38 miles exactly as I pulled up to the house. Heh.)
