when the dam breaks down and the city's covered in water

Dammit. I'm lying to her again. I'm having to grovel to my parents for money, simply so she doesn't have to go out and work.

Why? Because I've got too much pride for my own good. Well, at least towards her. I just don't want to let her know I have to give in and ask my dad for money. Which he has, but I shouldn't be doing this. I shouldn't.

But what other choice do I have? I guess, where I do have the choice, I should be honest with her. Absolutely honest, because she's my wife and I trust her and love her and...no, I shouldn't keep things from her like this.

Time to be a real man, Arthur.

Love, I need to talk to you. Seriously. Could you get your brothers to look after the boys for an hour or so? I just...we need to talk.

The one perk about going to investigate pranks played on Muggle newsagents is the sheer amount of free Muggle chocolate I can pick up. Mmm, Marathon bars.
