Favorite historical figure(s): SO many.. Alexander Hamilton Gustavus Conyngham. Ben Franklin, The signers of the Declaration of Independence/Constitution, John Paul Jones, General Walter Stewart, Lafayette,Red Hugh O'Donnell, the list goes on and on...
What makes you a history nerd?: history major @ college, dedicated & obessed Revolutionary War reenactor.. LOL I spend most of my meagre pay on books & reenacting gear.. go figure! lol and wear the name History Nerd with pride!!
Something random about you: On my mother's side I'm descended from an Irish soldier in the 69th NY Infantry(Fighting 69th regiment) who fought in the Civil War and was imprisoned @ Andersonville
