As soon as the woman of the next pair twirled out on the first beat, Lucil instinctively kept her eyes trained on her. The woman's trained and toned body posed as she shot a "come hither" look to her following partner. At that look, the blonde felt her stomach tighten in the deliciously painful way. Her cheeks flushed as the pair started twirling and dancing together in a passionate and sensual tandem. Teeth trapped a lower lip between them as their owner sat mesmerized, flushed and confused.

Of course this whole affair had tons of beautiful women in very flattering dance dresses and of course Lucil noticed them. But this woman? This Jeanette? She made the teen blush with her moves, made the air in her lungs disappear with the sway of her hips. Dark brown eyes widened in shock. She was turned on. Completely and utterly turned on and wanting a young woman she didn't even know. The blonde clenched her legs together as discretely as she could, trying to stop the swift ache at her core. This is wrong, I'm with my parents. I shouldn't be so...needy now. Why am I acting like this? I DON'T KNOW HER. Lucil's mind was so furious and so confused yet her body continued to hum in her arousal.

She may not know the dancer but her body sure believed it did. Her back tingled with the shiver that ran over the just healed skin from her latest tryst with her Jeanette. But why? This Jeanette wore a healthy amount of make-up, her Jeanette wore only mascara. This Jeanette wore a dress as if she was her second skin, her Jeanette wore tank tops and denied the girly outfits. This Jeanette was an amazing dancer who put her soul on the dance floor yet appeared as if she kept something secret, her Jeanette told her everything, she never kept anything from her.

The young man bent his partner back, one hand on the small of her back and another on her stomach as the gasp in Lucil's throat died, her eyes finally caught the face of this mysterious dancer. This Jeanette was her Jeanette, her Ferrari. Lucil's eyes may not've seen her easily but her body and that special fist shapped organ in it could tell the latina as soon as she appeared. And now? It ached just as much as her arousal, though for a completely different reason. The pair finished as Lucil didn't even notice, her eyes firmly put on Ferrari's form. Her exe excitedly smiled as she bowed to the audience until...their eyes connected. Lucil was hurt but proud but Ferrari was shocked and scared and...now fleeing the stage after a hasty exit. Lucil clutched the material of her dress in her hands. Ferrari didn't trust her.

"Mija? Whats wrong? You look flushed mijita. Are you--" Lucil licked her lips and flashed her mother a small smile. "I'm fine, that was just...very hot. That dancer--the guy?--he was attractive. Excuse me. I need to go to the restroom." The blonde stood as it was announced that there would be a small intermission before the judgements of the dancers came. Her mother looked as if she was about to say something but Lucil simply moved off in a direction she hoped would lead her to the bathrooms or any place that wasn't here. Brushing past some crowds of peopole, Lucil made her way in some direction for a bit before her peripheral view caught a dazed looking Ferrari surrounded by older people congratulating her and her partner. Despite the hurt (and sadly, still lingering arousal) she felt, the girl stayed for a long moment and watched the pair with a small grimace of a smile. She...she's amazing. Amazing and better off not seeing me when this is all going on. Lucil bit her lower lip firmly before turning on her heel and shuffling off into the opposite direction, heading to the dance club's back patio, praying she could be alone.

Jeanette swayed uneasily on her feet, eyes unfocused and darting througout the crowd in search of blonde. It didn't take long for her to spot the yellow among the sea of brunette and she lurched on her feet, leaning into Tony's side as she tried to regain herself. This had all jsut been shot to hell. She intended to apologise, and she stood to do so when a hand on her arm made her turn. An elderly couple stood, congratulating them. Jeanette gave a smile and nod before her eyes went to search the crowd again, but that blonde was gone and she was left feeling even emptier then ever.

She's not sure why she never wanted Lucil to know. Perhaps because she figured Lucil would only like her when she was Ferrari, and not as Jeanette. Ferrari was softball, Ferrari was outgoing and unafraid to face the world. Jeanette, well, Jeanette was timid, Jeanette was tender and Jeanette was afraid; very, very afraid. Of what the world would think of her, of what would happen once she stepped out into the real world or even fearful that she may never be able to be loved for who she is. She should have expected more of Lucil, but her own insecurities had gotten in the way and it was hard to overcome them.

She turned to Tony and fixed him with a hard stare, begging him to understand as she broke away from him to surge through the crowd. He watched her leave with a nod and a sigh. He understood completely. Jeanette pushed passed a group of latino men to find Mr. and Mrs. Montoya chatting with her own parents. Hurrying forward, Jeanette tapped Sonia on the shoulder. "Hola, Senora Montoya. Have you seen Lucil?" The Latina, almost ignoring the question, tried to tell her how amazing she was and...at that point Jeanette zoned out. "Lucil?" she repeated. "Oh! She said she had to use the bathroom." With a hasty thanks, Jeanette turned and made a dash for the bathroom. Slamming the door open and startling afew women, Jeanette peered aroudn the room. "Lucil? Lucil!" she called. Of course, no asnwer came and she slumped against a wall with a sigh.

She stayed there for what seemed like forever before she decided she needed to get some fresh air. That would help clear her head. Picking herself up from the wall, she pushed open the door and made a lazy, sad beeline for the balcony/patio. No one was outside, luckily, though Jeanette didn't really look as she kept her gaze to the ground and headed for the iron-wrought rail and leaned out over it with a heavy sigh. She tugged her hair free from it's bun and ran her fingers through it to loosen the strands. "So...fucking stupid." she muttered aloud, closing her eyes. It was dark by now and the moon hung low in the sky as Jeanette opened her eyes to gaze at it.

But something else entirely caught her eye besides the bright moon. She swung her head to meet Lucil's gaze, eyes wide. "L-Lucil." she muttered, straightening up to face the latina.

The only blonde of the crowd easily slipped away onto the back patio without too much hassle, everyone was speaking to the dancers to really pay any real attention to her anyway. They're not the only ones either. Lucil thought bitterly. The cool air of the night was helping to slightly calm her down from her hormones but the ache she felt in her chest still lay there like a weight was attatched to her neck. She supposed she could understand why Ferrari, why Jeanette would keep all of this from her. The other teen had a lot going for her and whether she full-out agreed on or not, an image she up-held as the strong grease-monkey of McKinley. This would bring her down if anyone got hold of the knowledge. But then the blonde liked to think she wasn't just anyone. She was Lucil. The ex-girlfriend, the friend with benifits, the close friend, the one who cares more than anyone but Mercedes Jones' knew. The Fuck buddy. That's where this shocker hurt most.

The blonde could wear so many hats in Jeanette "Ferrari" Sinclaire's life that she'd believed she was a part of it, that she'd known the girl she gave herself to for the first time so long ago. And apparently? That was not the case. Ferrari didn't trust her to stay with this knowledge. She didn't think that it could possibly just make the girl care more, that it would intrigue her, that she'd just embrace this other side of her. She didn't believe in her.

Lucil moved to the iron casted fencing and gripped it in her hands tightly, ignoring her fists shaking as she held on. Her eyes watched the almost abnormally low moon. "...You jerk. I have been loyal to you haven't I? I've been at your side no matter what and even put aside my hate of fwb relationships because I trust you and want to be close but then you don't do the same for me?" The young woman bit the inside of her cheek as she eyes clenched shut. I'm such a goddamn fool. Her eyes flicked open as the door behind her swung open. The girl's posture straightened as she steeled her gaze out to the moon, relatively ignoring the person shuffling to her side. Her peripheral vision caught sight of shimmering red followed by whisps of black locks. Her ears bearly caught the mumbled words when she finally forced herself to look at Ferrari. The tanned, beautiful young woman finally noticed her and straightened herself, saying her name just as softly as her earlier self degradement. Lucil forced herself to stay calmer than she felt, forced her heart and body to shut up with the emotions as she spoke in a flat tone. "Jeanette." She stared at her ex for a moment before looking away again. "...congratulations." She muttered softly, her damnable emotions bubbling over just slightly as she kept her eyes trained away from the friend that could hurt her with a word.

There was a long pause in which Jeanette stared long and hard at her lover. A tight frown made it's way onto her lips, which in turn furrowed her brow into a loose, confused crease. She knew that tone; she knew what it means. Se had dated Lucil long enough to know that, but just lik ebefore she wasn't exactly sure of the cause or how to fix it. It reminded her, sickeningly, of the day they broke up. Lucil's voice had been so..flat and defeated. This was the exact same voice and, though she knew an enevitable 'break up' wasn't in sight, it made her heart clench and she felt devoid and empty. She knew there was a problem here, and she also knoew that it was her fault. However, she interpereted it entirely wrong. "Lucil," she started timidly, "I-I'm sorry. It's just...It makes my mother happy and I enjoy doing it. It's who I am and I know that isn't who you want but...This is me."

Like a classic case of word vomit, it all came out in a breathless rush in which she had to stop herself from making any more damnable confessions. Her hand flew to her mouth and she bit down on her lip, harsh enough to bust the skin as she shifted, hip jutted out while she averted her gaze to the garden the balcony overlooked. One arm snaked around her abdomen as if it was the only thing that could keep her together and despite the warm, humid air outside, she shivered. She knew Lucil was angry and she knew she needed to fix it, she just didn't know how. Her gaze roved up to the window, where she spotted Tony speaking with her mother. The dark skinend boy waved in their direction and her mother looekd up to lock eyes with her daughter through the glass barrier. Her face was riddled with confusement and upset, until she registered the form of Lucil next to her. Understanding set in and she looked at Jeanette. The younger latina gave a curt, slow nod to announce she was sure. This was more important. Her mother gave a nod and turned away just as the judges voice rumbled out onto the patio.

"Seniors y senioras, please be seated for the announcement of the winners." Jeanette made no notion she heard she her eyes shifted back to Lucil. "Lucil,' she repeated, "I'm sorry. So sorry." She stepped closer to reach an arm out tenderly, but it stopped short, hovered, then fell back to her side. "I just..." she paused to worry her bleeding lip between her teeth, "I thought you wouldn't like me."

Lucil's hands tightened their grip on the small fence before them. Her head snapped back to look at Ferrari as she started spewing words that sounded completely wrong to the other girl. "This isn't who you want?" I'm sorry this is me? Are you serious Fer? You. GAH. You know me better than this! Her eyes narrowed a bit before a frustrated sigh escapped her lips. "...How could you think that? Any of that? Is this what you really think of me? That I'm such a shallow bitch that I couldn't accept the fact that someone I--" The blonde swallowed, reigning in her own words so she wouldn't spew anything that she didn't want spoken. "That someone I care about dearly loves things that seem like they aren't her image?"

The teen shook her head as she allowed her arms to lightly hug herself as she stared at her ex with hurt eyes. "You're amazing Ferrari. You're my captain, my friend, my sometimes lover and someone I trust completely with so much. But...you don't seem like you trust me." Lucil's words came out softer than she expected and she hated herself for it. But who could blame her? She was hurting and sad at the idea someone she loved didn't feel that she'd still accept and respect them for something they enjoyed. Did she really come off as such a back person? The idea caused a shudder to run through her body.

Her tongue darted out to wet her lips. "I accept whatever you love Fer, why do--" The words of the announcer faintly spilled onto the patio. Brown eyes looked down. They should go back. This was important to her friend and her family, Lucil wouldn't come between that. "Don't be sorry for who you are. Now, go back in there, you're being called. Good luck." She bit her lip softly and turned to look at the door. "I'll still be around after, if you still want to talk to me." The girl started to take slow steps back towards the entrance into the crowded, anxious room as she gave herself a tight hug.

Jeanette grimaced, visibly flinching at her harsh words. It was true, though. She had been an idiot to think of all people Lucil wouldn't accept her for who she was. She was involved in the Latin culture, so what's the chance she wouldn't enjoy tango or things related? She sighed and ran her fingers through her hair again, then let it join the other to wrap around herself in defeat. "Luc-" she was cut off with Lucil's second rant, in which Lucil herself was cut off from by the announcer. Her eyes narrowed when Lucil suggested they get back inside. Without thought, a low growl started in her throat. She thought winning some stupid competition was more important then their friendship? With slitted eyes, she watched Lucil take a few steps past her and headed for the door.

A hand reached out as she pivoted, grabbing onto Lucil's forearm and holding on firmly. "Lucil." she stated, voice edgy in warning. "That damn competition doesn't mean shit compared to you, understand?" she stepped closer to Lucil, hand still latched onto her forearm like a lifeline. "I'm sorry, okay? You're right, I should have told you and I don't think you're shallow. I am, okay? I thought I needed to be something for you to like me. I understand now that I was wrong. I'm sorry." She glanced back through the window and watched as the other four competitors were lined up. She heard her name being called over the mic but her eyes landed back on Lucil's with a steady gaze. "Please, just...don't be angry with me?"

Her mother, she noticed from the corner of her eye, was speaking with the judges, who nodded and they went on with the competition. Jeanette sighed and lowered her gaze, "Lucil? I..." she dropped off, then tried to start again, "I...really care about you too. I don't want to lose you and I understand I'm a bitch sometimes and that I'm not the best girlfriend. Hell, I'm probably the worse choice for you to make but...you're my best friend and...lover...and," she let go of Lucil's hand, her confidence gone once again. "Please." she begged, glancing up to meet her eyes briefly to read her reaction.

Why did she have to say 'girlfriend'? She broke up with me. She...her and I... Lucil shook a bit as Ferrari's grip tightened for a moment before falling as the tone of her voice became softer. Eyes looked towards the window holding the competition, watching as the competitors took bows. A shaky breath escaped her lips when she finally steeled her nerves enough to look at the girl only to find she was looking to her as well. "Ferrari...Jeanette," Her voice lost it's frustration, now only being inflected with her more raw emotions. "I--I'm not completely angry with you, okay? I know how important I am to you." She turned her body to face her friend completely, staying close to the girl. "You aren't a bitch or a bad person or shallow. You're just a little slow sometimes." The blonde gave the brunette a small smile.

Her gaze drifted down to look at their heels for a moment in thought. Ferrari did care about her and her feelings, Lucil knew that and could hear it in the other teen's words, in how she begged for forgiveness. But then, why was she so angry before? She wasn't Ferrari's girlfriend. She was a friend. Who's someone you're just a little not over. The blonde winced and mentally told the small voice in her mind to shove off before she moved on pure instinct. A peach colored hand reached out and lightly held onto a tanned hand.

Lucil kept her eyes on their shoes but gave Ferrari's hand a small squeeze. "You won't lose me and you aren't a bad choice for me, if I had a choice anyway. And you're my best friend too. I just...want you to be truthful with me like I am with you okay? Don't feel like I'd judge you off the bat. Just talk to me and let me in from time to time." She licked her lips and took a small inhale of breath before raising her head and looking at Ferrari's face. In the end, that's all the blonde wanted most of the time, a chance to be in her ex's--her friend's--life. To just know someone whe cared about completely in a truthful manner. That's all she could realistically ask for anyway, despite how often she could imagine it, Ferrari wasn't her girlfriend and didn't have to involve her in her life at all. Lucil simply hoped she would sometimes, as an honest friend.

Jeanette merely watched the blonde in silence, nursing her bruised lip as she listened intently. So Lucilw asn't entirely mad with her. Just...disappointed? That was almost worst than anger. She ducked her head and whined softly, like a dog who was being scolded. Okay, so she deserved to be called slow. Sometimes she wasn't the brightest bulb at reading people, but she tried at least. With a small nod she raised her head back up to look at the younger latina. "I promise." she whispered, though she had said it with every ounce of seriousness she had. She was never going to block out Lucil any more. But that didn't always mean she had to tell her the truth. Like how she was still head-over-heels for her former girlfriend. It was best if things just stayed like they were. "I promise." she repeated, even softer as she steeled herself up and straightened up from her prior pose of self-defeat.

Her eyes flickered between the two brown eyes of the blonde before she took a step forward and enveloped the girl in a tight hug. She rested her head on her shoulder and just held her tight with her eyes closed. "Thank you, Lucil." she voiced. She pulled back after a moment, surprised that a small blush was creeping over her cheeks. "Wait here, okay?" she said, making a 'stay' motion before she brushed past her and into the building. People were leaving, and at a very quick pace. It wouldn't be but a few more minutes before the place was cleared out. She hurried through the crowd to search out her mother. When she found her, she was standing with Tony and her father. They all smiled as she came up and Jeanette threw her arms around her mothers shoulders in a hug. "Thank you, mom. I'm sorry but--" He rmother shushed her and pulled back with a loving smile, "It's okay, mija. I know how much she means to you." Jeanette gave a small nod then turned to Tony, "Sorry Tone." He waved it off, "Honey, I never really cared about this thing anyway."

Jeanette turned back to her mother and father and siged, "I'm going...to stay late. Go ahead and go without me, okay? I have my car." Her parents nodded and gave her sqift hugs, Tony too, before Tony gave a wink. "Go get you're girl." Jeanette chuckled and shook her head. She noticed by now they were the last ones in the room beside Lucil's parents. Jeanette slowly walked over to them and greeted them. "Hola." she knew to be careful about what she said around the older Latino parents, so she chose her words carefully. "I...want to teach Lucil something, would you mind if she spent the night?" Lucil's parents nodded, bid her good night then left with Jeanette's parents, leaving the place deserted. She glanced back out the window to where Lucil waited before dashing onto the stage, behind the curtains and to her dressing room. Inside, she grabbed at a CD from her bag before slipping back down the hallway.

It took her a moment to find the damn thing, but before long she had popped in the CD and hit play before she made her way back outside. The music, slow and soft, played over the intercom on the patio. Jeanette smiled and held out her hand to the girl as she got close, "Let me show you something." she offered, pulling the girl in when she finally took her hand. She placed the other girl's hands, one on her shoulder and the other clasp in her own in typical tango pose. "Just follow me, okay?"

A small chuckle escaped her lips as Ferrari gave her the "stay" gesture, as if she was Monster, before the latina in red disappeared. Lucil ran a hand through her lightly curled hair. Of course she forgave Ferrari, she would have eventually it was just that things like honesty alway tended to get to her at times. She chalked it up to a mixture of her own insecturities and the fact her birth mother esscentially gave her away. A shrug rolled off her shoulders. What was past was past, no need to really bring it back up.

She made her way back to the iron fencing and leaned into it some, finally gazing out at the large garden behind the club. Her tongue licked her lower lip. "Damn it all. I start cooling down and then she hugs me. Now I'm getting back to how I started..." Lucil whined to herself as she was feeling hyper aware of everything around her. Hormones really were a bitch to deal with when on a mini-emotional roller coaster. She was sure she was warm, the small breeze that blew her hair slightly didn't register at all on her radar. Out of nowhere, soft music was whisping in the air, for a moment, Lucil thought it was her going a tiny bit mad.

The teen turned around and spotted a few speakers lining the walls of the club's exterior. "Oh thank god, I'm not having a Katy Perry inspired hormone freak..." she breathed in relief. Ferrari reappeared with a smile and held out her hand to Lucil. She instantly took the other teen's hand and was pulled to her and had her hands placed on different parts of the brunette's body while her legs took to a dance pose quickly. A light flush worked its way onto her face. "Yeah...okay. But, um," Lucil moved her legs a bit to stand in a firmer pose, calf muscles contracting as they were trained to show off strength this way. She gave a bit of a grin. "There we are. Rumba stance. It's easier for me." The blonde looked into the eyes of her partner nervously, praying to God that if what Ferrari had in mind for her was going to happen that she at least remembered how to follow someone else without looking like the stereo-typical white dancer she sometimes could.

Jeanette wiggled her hips and settled them both closer to each other, her hand sliding back to settle on the small of her back, mostly pulling her out of her rumba stance. "M-mm." she scolded, "Here." she reached down with the hand on her back to the back of her thigh to pull it open and place her foot where it belonged. A brow quirked as the closer proximity made her very aware of how flushed and warm Lucil's body was. With the girl in the correct stance, Jeanette returned her hand to it's former position. The song was still slow, so she focused more on giving them the beat and moving Lucil with the correct foot-steps and slides. It was a while before the song picked up a little, she began to add a few more skilled moves like twirling Lucil and back-stepping.

The song changed and a look of knowing passed over Jeanette's face. She took a deep breath before joining in with the third verse."No me ames porque pienses que parezco diferente," she hummed the next line and just swayed before joining back in. She hadn't sung for anyone before; sure Lucil had heard her sing, but that wasn't the same as being sung to. And this, ironically, was a perfect song, in a way. She sang for the rest of the song while keeping the slow tempo and simple movements. It ended and Jeanette smiled sheepishly until te next song set in. It was upbeat and quick and Jeanette let out a hearty laugh as she pulled Lucil in close and proceeded to, basically, lead her through a tango similar to the one she had just performed. Of course she had to improvise, since Lucil didn't know what she doing. She took on Tony's part as well, raising and moving Lucil to where she needed to be and when she needed to be there.

While she was having a blast, the music put her back into her 'Tango mode' and she grew serious and sensual as she moved with Lucil. Instead of ending it with the pose like they had done in the competition, she ended it like the couple before them had, with her thigh rested on the blonde latina's hip and her calf wrapped around to hook around her while she held herself close with her arms on Lucil's biceps. The third song ended with Jeanette panting hard and her lips inches from Lucil's. She gave a toothy smile and chuckled. "You got potential, blondie." she said, winking as she hesitantly detached herself from Lucil.

(Yes, I totally stole your song idea! XP)

Her breath caught in her throat as their music shifted to a song she'd grown up with and her mouth dried as Ferrari started singing to her. Oh lord... Lucil had known the extent of her friend's singing ability but this? Having the older girl singing to her was an entirely different experience all together, one that made her fear her legs would turn to jelly as they attempted to keep her standing and moving with the dancer's gentle moves. The song ended with a big, sheepish grin on her ex's face and before Lucil could gather herself enough to speak, a new, faster song came on.

With a laugh and a glint in her eye, Ferrari set the two off onto a real tango. Her body moved the blonde, made her twirl and position herself how and where the dance called for her to be. The older latina had always been an agressor by nature however this aggressive finese dancing gave her made Lucil's skin tingle. The blonde moved with the brunette's direction, trusting her to catch her from her twirl and to be strong enough to lift her from small dips. Upon a last small twirl that Ferrari herself also accompanied, the strong, tanned latina finished their dance with her strong thigh on Lucil's hip, holding her tightly as the two panted as the blonde easily noted how close their faces were.

As her friend pulled away with a smile, the adopted latina could only smile back and nod in agreement with her, still breathing a bit shallow like. Her body was humming with warmth and energy, tingling and wanting to put itself back into the older girl's arms again. She swallowed before speaking. "That was amazing," Lucil's voice was slightly husky, to her embaressment. The teen cleared her throat with a blush before trusting herself to speak again. "I...heh, I think I may actually let mom enroll me into some class now." Feeling a bit self concious and exposed, the blonde cross her arms over her chest and her swiftly beating heart. "Thank you for showing me that. Sorry if I messed up a bit. I need to fight my white girl genes on that," She cracked a shy smile at Ferrari. Almost as much as I need an ice cold shower. The girl bit her lower lip gently and looked away from Ferrari. This whole night had sent her on a ride alright. She'd gone from content to horny to hurt to happy to head over heels in just under two hours, a thing she's never understood how the other girl across from her would make her feel. Being a teenage girl was hard but being a teenaged lesbian with a fattie crush on her ex was exhausting. And kind of a huge turn on. Lucil mentally rolled her eyes as she focused on calming her heated body.

Ferrari's eyebrows shot up at Lucil's husked voice, heart pounding becaue she knew she was the cause of it. It always prided her to be able to turn her ex on. Just like how she prided herself in being able to make love and please said girl. While she would ever say no to taking the latina on a perfectly decent patio, she didn't want this to be about sex. Well, not entirely anyway. She'd fucked up today, well, for a long time now by keeping this secret from Lucil and she wanted to show the girl how much she appreciated her. "You would definately do to take some lessons. Tell your mom..." she paused, "Tell your mom I'll teach you." she glanced around the patio, then back at Lucil as she took in the girls apparal. "You look beautiful tonight. I would've said something earlier but I got distracted." she wrinkled her nose and gave a soft chuckle.

She side-stepped, as if she was going circling prey while she looked the girl blatantly over. She stopped behind the girl and stepped forward to snake her arms around her waist and rested her chin on her shoulder. "As much as I love it on you, I'd love it just as much off." she husked, feeling the warmth radiating from the girl in her arms. There was a moment of silence where she just swayed and watched the moon before she chuckled. "Mercedes was right. It was worth telling you." she joked, though by the time the last word rolled off her tongue, she realized her mistake. She'd jsut ratted out her new friend and she didn't even mean to. Knowing there wasn't any way to cover herself, she waited for the inevitable.

A sigh worked itself from her lips as she watched Ferrari circle her like a preditor, she mentally agreed with Brittany's view of the brunette. She was a cat. A big, sexy, mechanical cat that went rrrrrar. Lucil melted a bit at her ex's words and the feel of her body pressed into her back. Absently she ran a peach hand up her freind's arm slowly, turning her head to say something back to the latina when she felt the girl's words hit her hard. What did she say? There was no way. NO. Way. It took a lot but Lucil unwound Ferrari's arms from her waist and stepped away from her body, turning to face her head on.

She looked into the other pair of eyes and saw the instant regret. The feeling that she knew she'd stepped in it. "You told...'Cedes knew? And she didn't tell me?" Lucil couldn't help the small whimper that sounded in her throat. Not only had the girl she, for all intent and purposes, loved, not told her something important because she'd believed her image was more important but her closest family friend knew the secret and knew how much she cares about her ex, yet neglected to tell her. Purposely kept her out of the loop. It was written in the dark eyes before her. The buzz of her body made her feel terrible as it conflicted with her emotions, leaving her to hug herself tightly in an attempt to make herself stop. The blonde looked down and bit her lip hard. "I love both of you. Am I just meant to be kept out of everything?" She knew it was an unfair question but the girl was hurt, again. Pulling all her punches was a bit hard at the moment.

Ferrari tucked her hands lamely at her side when they became vacant of a warm body. She sighed and shook her head. "Yea, she...walke din on me practicing about two weeks ago. She...I made her promise not to tell you. It's not her fault. Please don't be mad at her." Crap, back at square one. Way to go, Ferrari. She growled in frustration, but it only died at her second phrase. She glanced up at Lucil and then threw up her arms with a groan. "I'm sorry okay? It isn't her fault, and I didn't know it woulf hurt you so much. Didn't we just go over this?" she hissed, turning to pace dangerously parallel to the railing.

She knew she shouldn't be getting mad here, but Ferrari only had so much patience and so much she oculd apologise for. She might as well be having a confession of sorries. Sorry, I'm actually not who you think I am. Sorry, I don't tell you everything. Sorry about freshman year, when I dragged you into this? Sorry I broke up with you. Oh, and sorry I love you. She turned to stare at Lucil, "If you're going to be angry, maybe I should just take you home. I can only do so much without digging myself into another hole, apparantly." she added bitterly.

Hands ran through long blonde tresses before gripping and tugging the locks in frustration. The girl hissed a bit before turning to Ferrari's new position, pacing the railing of the patio balcony. Her brown eyes narrowed as she bit the inside of her cheek, feeling a cut form. "I'm not angry! I don't want to go home! And I don't want to be away from you! That's the whole problem, okay?" She gestured to the girl with her hands a few times, as if the latina could tell what she was saying by her animated motions. A groan vibrated from her mouth as she put her hands on her hips. "You know me inside and out. Mercedes knows how I feel about a lot of things. School, immigration, rights, YOU, the whole shi-bang! She and I'll talk about this because I know she'd be pissed if I knew something about Kurt that she didn't even though he is still not exactly equal in her life as you are to me."

Lucil started moving on the balls of her feet, starting to pace on her own near the glass wall and stuccoed areas of the club's back exterior. Her mind was racing, her heart was thumping, her body lusted for the agressive, angry latina across from her. Everything was going to hell and coming to a head in her mind. Insanity within sanity.

She ran a hand along the hard, prickly wall, clenching her eyes as words burned in her throat. Words that had wanted to be said for a long time. A week after they broke up. Their first fwb moment. Their first round of sex as "friends". The last time they'd slept together. I love you. I've always loved you. You're stupid and cocky and a tease and a perv and you constantly look at other girls. But I love it all. I'm sorry I can't help how I feel. Sorry I can't be what you want. I'm sorry I'm not Quinn. The blonde fisted her slightly scrapped hand and hit the wall once. Her head snapped to look at Ferrari's form as it was outlined in moonlight. A jaw trembled before her hand hit the wall again with her flat palm this time. "Can't you see!?" The song Ferrari sang to her rang out through the chaos in her mind, making her speak whatever first came to her mouth. "You hurt me and dig holes for yourself because you're the only person with enough power to tear me to shreads with a word! I've stayed with you. I'll always stay!! You hear me? I'm sorry that I'm an insecure white bastard that isn't the blonde you want but...Yo te quiero" Her words came out in long, loud strings until they died off into the softest of a whisper that was swallowed by a hand covering her mouth angrily. Still frustrated but shocked at her emotions spilling over, Lucil couldn't tell if her last words reached her ex's ears. What was the point? It was clear she was the emotional best friend and team-mate, nothing more, not again. She wasn't what was wanted and she should learn to get over it. Perhaps she should've thought this through further.

"...And I don't want to be away from you! That's the whole problem, okay?" Ferrari's brow furrowed as the words sunk in, unableto decipher the meaning. What was the problem with being away? Her eyes flashed dangerously as Lucil took a fist to the wall. She had only seen Lucil like this one other time, and the stark similarities between the events was starting to really piss Ferrari off. They were best friends, best friends who were just a little more than that without admiting it. Nothing more, nothing less. Why? Because it's what worked and it satisfied their need to be together. They tried being just friends after the break-up, and it worked fine until Ferrari had snapped and taken Lucil in her bedroom one night. After that, it just made sense. They wanted each other, but didn't want to deal with dating. Or, so she assumed that's what Lucil thought because she sure as hell didn't agree.

Another bad thing about Ferrari was her temper. She didn't get mad that often, but if she did, little things wold trigger her off. Even being around someone else, particularly someone close to her, being angry just fueled her for no real reason. So instead of calming down and trying to talk to Lucil, Ferrari just turned and stalked the balcony again. She was so deep in her thougts that she only caught half of what Lucil was saying and actually let it sink in."You hurt me and dig holes for yourself because you're the only person with enough power to tear me to shreads with a word!" She whirled around, facing the latina with her eyes slitted and mouth opening to form a retort but Lucil plowed on,"I'm sorry that I'm an insecure white bastard that isn't the blonde you want but... at this, Ferrari fists curled in, her nails cutting crescent shapes into the meat of her palms as she took a threatening step forward. The whispered words, however, stopped her in her tracks. She couldn't have heard right. There was no way she had heard right, because that would mean everything was fixed. That Lucil felt the exact same way about her and they could just be happy now. Yet she knew she heard them. Surely Lucil was just messing with her. Maybe she knew how Ferrari still felt about her and was pulling low punches. Surely.

Slowly, a small quake began to consume her from head to toe, and she struggled to keep herself under control. What kind of bitch would say that? Pull that card on her? She never would have thought Lucil would have, but here it was. Yet she couldn't just throw the chance out the window. What if she meant it? She mulled it over, painfully slow before her mouth caught up and she shook her head, holding out a hand to Lucil with her palm out."Stop. Just...stop." she muttered, pinching the bridge of her nose with her other hand and closing her eyes as she took another minute to calm her shivering. Finally, she opened her eyes and fixed them on Lucil, locking eyes and speaking slowly, so Lucil wouldn't miss a beat. "You. Mean. More. To. Me. Than. You. Could. Ever. Imagine." she hissed, before continuing at a faster pace. "I don't want you to ever compare yourself to Quinn, do you understand? I'm sorry that I like her, okay? I don't know why either, but I do. But you? You're my best friend, my lover and I would die to have what we had before with you. I don't..." she swallowed hard, voice cracking, "I don't know if you meant it, but if you do...Please, let me prove that I feel that same way?" she shook her head with a sigh, anger flaring again, "But, God Lucil, if you're just saying it, and you don't mean it? Then...Fuck. You, Lucil. I'm not going to have you stand there and toy with my feelings any more. You already broke me once, I don't think I can handle it again. Do. You. Understand me?" she hissed, taking a step forward and fists clenching back at her sides again. "Que?!" she repeated, eyes narrowed down to slivers.
