tweet-like post episode 002

- Can someone tell me the purpose of English in Bollywood films? I mean, I can't understand why it's used so randomly. I know that they know English...but the phrases it's used for isn't something that needs to be punctuated or anything. They're pretty mundane. Like...a single word in a sentence I understand. Switching to Hindi for a few sentences when you don't know English very well or you're upset I understand. But a single sentence of English--a mundane sentence--in a paragraph of Hindi when you're in a scene with all Indians? Why?

Maybe I'm missing cues. It's just something that's baffled me for a while.

I'm watching Raajneeti, by the way.

- I now have a town on Cityville on Facebook. Muffin help us all. ....and I just spent fifteen minutes on it in the middle of this post. I'm a mess and I've been on it for less than a day.

- I haven't been to work at all this week. I'm not ungrateful or bored, but we need to get the ball rolling!

- I am really hungry. OMG.
