- My mom is watching an animated version of Ben-Hur that she bought for $4 at Food Lion in the other room. She says it's good and she's going to show it to her Children's Church class. Muffin help us all. (Though the bargain bin can be pretty fun! That's how I got Kronk's New Groove, Life of Brian and the Gene Wilder version of The Producers.
.....I think I heard Tim Curry in the other room. SWEET JESUS, WAS HE IN THAT?? Because I MUST SEE IT if he was.
- Maybe I'm a racist? I don't know? (Hint: No, I'm not.) But I didn't get into Racefail last year. I don't know, I was just uncomfortable. I feel like the world constantly tells me I'm a bad POC for not being offended by certain things/seeing things differently, so..."Fuck it". ...and I'm only saying that because a friend and I talked about it briefly the other day.
- More people read my LJ with more frequency than I thought. I am kind of surprised.
- I saw a few episodes of (and enjoyed) My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Explain this, consciousness. EXPLAIN! But it was SO CUTE and I adored the voice acting.
I loved me some Applejack.
And no, I didn't watch this as a little girl, so there is no wave of nostalgia for me. Though I did get the 80s vibe. FULL ON FRIENDSHIP!
