Day Ten: One confession
This is gonna be tough. I usually don't talk about myself like this.
1. "I'm black." (I said that when we were introducing ourselves in a high school philosophy class. It was hilarious, I promise.)
2. The only thing that I know about my sex life (that I have) is that I'm not straight.
3. I have dreads. My aunt keeps saying she likes them shorter, but fuck it, I look better with long hair, so I'm growing it out for now.
4. I love me some mslash and yaoi. Yet I am annoyed by the naked male form.
5. I really want to be girly. But I don't have the body for it, in my opinion. People say it's low self-esteem, but it's because I know what I look like and I wouldn't want to see that. It's being realistic.
6. My brother and I used to bond over yaoi before I knew he was gay. ...I don't know how I didn't put two and two together in those days. Well, if straight girls can like yuri, why can't straight guys like yaoi? ...it was Ranma 1/2 yaoi, BTW.
7. I have balance problems, which I probably inherited from my father. Thus, I nearly fall a lot. It may be why I can't get used to the tablet.
8. I feel bad when I don't like stuff that everybody that's cool is supposed to like. Like The Beatles or Scooby-Doo or live action TV.
9. I'm really, really sappy. I get teary at things like the "Heal the World" song or the Discovery Channel's "I Love the Whole World" commercial. I'm the person that asks "Can't we all just eat lunch and get along?" I really don't understand how people are mean. (EDIT: I mean, I can WRITE chracters being bitches, and I love villains, but I dunno how.)
