This hiatus is ridiculous. I think I really knocked a bit of it out, though, today. Not getting started on Xaothi (which people on LJ will see later when my Tweets get posted) was really bothering me. I feel like I'm going at a slow roll.
EDIT: Oh, wait. Twitter is having a stroke today and my tweets won't be posted. So I'll give you the example sentence here:
"Kavi bem kocȗ ä ze". (KAH-vee behm KO-chuh æ zeh).
"I drink tea (all the time)."
Literally: "Drink (habitually) tea (object marker) I."
ISN'T THIS EXCITING? I'M EXCITED. :D :D :D
Also, it's Xaod'i, not Xaothi. It's PRONOUNCED with a heavy "th" sound, but I only know the IPA for it, not a good letter for it. Like the th in "the" not "thin". Two different sounds.
EDIT2: "X" is "sh". Sorry, but I'm trying to reduce the digraphs (using two letters for one sound, such as "ch") as much as possible. I hate them. Except "RR". "RR" is my homeboy, even though I can't pronounce it.
