Personally, I have a love-hate relationship with buddy-buddy romantic relationships. Sometimes I can see them and love them, sometimes I don't feel it, but see how how others ship it, sometimes I absolutely hate them. It really depends on the people involved. But I like it when people are close--even incredibly so (this includes TOUCHING, OMG)--and...no? Nope, they aren't an item.
*sigh*
I'd really like that to happen with boys more often (with other boys or with girls. Definitely with girls.) Eeeh!
