Six Things into the upcoming Vacation
1. Things with Jackie are going well. We spend as much time together as we can.
2. Got published in The Fuze anthology with "A Day at the Beach". Going to the book release this Friday.
3. Moved (fully) into the condo, scoured out the old apartment. It is the only placed I've ever moved out of, the only place I've rented a U-Haul for. It was strange to leave, to hand in the keys and to call someplace else "home". I am 14 years older than I was when I moved in there.
4. The National Poetry Slam is in St. Paul, MN next week and and I'm spending the whole week there. Having a week away is a good necessary re-set.
5. The boxes are opened and moved to where they'll be unpacked. I look forward to building things in my home.
