Philly Grand Slam this Friday
So first of all, Andrea Freaking Gibson is featuring at InFusion this Friday. She's won the Women of the World Poetry Slam Championships, and was a finalist at the Individual World Poetry Slam Championships. That's reason enough to come out.
In addition, this is our once-a-year Grand Slam in Philadelphia. Previous winners are competing for spots to represent Philadelphia at the 2009 National Poetry Slam in West Palm Beach Florida August 4-8.
It's going to be packed packed packed so get there early.
