A lesson in Judgement...

It's not your place.

I learned this yesterday. Sometimes I (probably all of us) subconciously judge someone else without even really knowing who they are. Sure you may know "their story" or maybe a little about them but until you talk to them, you have no idea who they really are.

There was a girl. Or is a girl, actually. She drove me crazy. And I didn't know her. I suppose, looking back, I was jealous of her in an odd way that I'm not going to explain, but yesterday my eyes were opened. I knew her name, I knew where she was from, I knew her past, I knew her friends, I knew what she believes is her calling, yet I didn't know her at all. It was never my place to judge her in any way. And to not over-use the word judge, I guess I basically assumed I knew what she was all about when reality would say I really didn't.

She's quite the girl. Never (though this sounds cliche) judge someone before you find out for yourself who they really are.
