Time for a quick SJA 2x11 review post, for I have nothing else of any real importance to say. I want it known that I will be doing this off the top of my head because I've only seen it twice (so far) because the only laptop that willingly connects to the internet has gone walkies. So I am currently living it up in the library.
First things first, because I just need to get it out of my system: Yay! The Brigadier! It was absolutely lovely to see him again after all these years. And it was nice to hear that Doris is still alive. Also, they mentioned the fact that The Brig was in Peru during the whole ATMOS ordeal, I love continuity references. And there was a reference to Queen Victoria, its great.
Ok, so, is it just me or does Mrs Wormwood just have burning chemistry with everyone on screen? I mean its definately there with Sarah, and I can almost swear she had chemistry with the sontaran. Blimey. I never actually realised just how amazing she actually was til now. I feel I should go and watch Invasion of the Bane again. But whatever, she's a bit fab and I will actually be saddened if she actually gets killed next episode. I think it'll be fun to have her around some more. She was just great and had some really great lines. Oh man, I'm officially a Mrs Wormwood fan.
Clyde also continues to be awesome with his oneliners and just general awesomeness, I liked his little bit on UNIT, he's so going to join when he's older.
Luke continues to be an adorable little puppy with issues and I still love the Chandras.
I particularly loved Sarah's 'I'm not past my sell by date yet" I literally laughed out loud at that. And it was wonderful to see her and the Brig together. Lovely, just lovely.
And on a final note, I loved the pop culture references "Luke, I am you mother" (Star Wars) and the Black Archive is so inspired by Indiana Jones.
Overall, I flippin' loved it, for lack of better words. I really can't wait til the next episode, but then I will be sad because its the last one :(
But I'm still waiting for this elusive Harry reference, oh please don't let him be dead, I will actually cry.
And then I watched Robot, because its mint.
