Discovery! (Nearly 5 years later)
In his peregrinations on Reddit, Lane stumbled upon a reference to a brilliant comedy show called The IT Crowd. It's done by the same guy who did Black Books, which bodes well already. Apparently, the first series started in February 2006, so we're really on the cutting edge with this one. Fortunately, Netflix has it, so we can watch it easily. (I'm beginning to really like that Netflix streaming thing. I think we'll keep it after the free trial is up.)
Anyway, it's two nerdy IT guys and a chick who doesn't know from computers, yet ends up being their department head. The cherry on top is their insane upper management boss who is reminiscent of some of Michael Palin's more frantic Monty Python characters.
