(no subject)
So I've turned into one of "those fans," but i had a really fun weekend with Andrea. On saturday we went to a Jimmy Fund fundraiser signing. I got autograph of Bronson Arroyo (he signed the slappy picture!), Jonnathan Papelbon, Craig Hansen, Manny Delcarmen, Lenny Dinardo, and 3 prospects that very few people have ever heard of (Jed Lowrie, Brandon Moss, and Charlie Zink [for you female readers they are are young hot and single, for you male readers Lowrie and Moss could be awesome contact hitters and Zink couyld be the next Tim Wakefield]).
Andrea managed to make manny delcarmen feel insecure :-D... then of course I probably made it worse. Ok, what happened was the signing was at Jillians so the players were sitting 2 at a booth and I had no idea what Lowrie, Moss, or Zink looked like. Delcarmen and Zink were sitting at a booth together and I handed the ball I had to Zink and mentioned I was excited to see his knuckleball and he grinned at me. Andrea was getting something signed by Delcarmen and whispered to me that if that wasn't Zink then I'd look really foolish. She looked back and Delcarmen was staring at her. She said oh i wasn't talking about you and then he just gave her a hurt little puppy dog look. Of course, I made it worse. I told him they weren't selling any photos of him and I wanted to get one and he just looked really hurt that they had no pictures of him... so yeah, if our new young stud reliever manny delcarmen demands a trade soon, it's ALL andrea's fault.
Today we went to the bruins wives carnival, got a few signatures... it was another fundraising thing so i didn't feel too bad about giving up money for signatures. But now I'm at work and my first class is at 9 am tomorrow... so, yeah...
