Ducks and Squirrels and Coyotes on the Road
The best thing to do if you come across something on the road is to hit the breaks. Breaking is the safest reaction to have. Unfortunately, based on driving incidents in Illinois involving ducks and squirrels and coyotes, I believe that my natural reaction is to swerve.
I blame dodgeball. I was pretty good at swerving out of the way.
