The accient at Platt and Victory

Yesterday afternoon Talia and I realized that we were really hungry. Therefore we decided to go to KFC. As we were in the driveway (having the perfect view of Victory and the bus stop across the street) we looked to our right at the flagpole of the Platt Library. We noticed it was half massed and were talking about it for a couple minutes as to why. As we went to reach for our food, we saw a blue Exterra peel out, then slam on the breaks squealing and smoking into another car. It hit so hard that we saw the metal crunching and heard the most horrific noise. The car that it had hit started squealing and then went out of focus behind the brick wall dividing the library and the KFC driveway. We heard a bunch of Hale kids screaming and running, and then we saw the flag pole that we had noticed earlier completely fall down toward the library. People were running in the street trying to see what happened, but Talia and I were frozen. After a couple minutes, we pulled out of the driveway and saw that the white sedan the Exterra had hit flew up a curb onto the tiled sidewalk of the library, knocked over the flagpole and was up a couple stairs. It was so sad and horrible to watch.
