Noah had to leave for the base today. I'm really going to miss him, but I'm very lucky because now he has weekend liberty. Now we'll be able to see each other every weekend. I feel very fortunate to have been able to share Christmas and New Years with him. New Years Eve was spent with our beloved Talia. She looked so adorable walking like the cutest duck that ever lived. The three of us had an extremely safe night watching "Home Alone" and eating chocolate and rice pudding. We just sat together hoping that the worst year of our lives would end quicker. On New Years Day (National Hang-Over Day), Noah and I went to Disneyland. It was the perfect beginning of a year. We went on all of the rides worth going on because it was so empty. We also went to Build a Bear and each made our own teddy. Of course his will stay with me. Lol, I don't think things will go over well if he brings a stuffed animal to the base.
Before he left I made him an apple pie with our pie dishes. (For Christmas Noah and I got dishes...I guess they're trying to drop a hint.) Of course the pie was gone by this morning. Haha, that man eats A lOT! He had to leave later this afternoon. Philldo, Talia, and my Grandparents came over to say bye. Ashley tried to make it too, but some customers are just too evil. Before he left he gave me his dog tags and told me to take care of his teddy bear and dress blues that he was leaving behind. I miss him so much already.
