Despite the "thrill" this summer has presented me so far .... (sense the extreme sarcasm) ... I started my new job at Taverna Mythos tonight. Amazing! I am so excited to have another oppourtunity to culture myself further. This semester provided a chance to dwell into the minds of Pakistani roommates Abbas, Umar, and Rafique. And it is unbelievable that after such a educational and interesting experience, I find myself working with people born and raised in Greece. The two cooks and both managers are all Greek and a couple of the servers are as well. And again, what a better setting to learn about Greek culture than in a traditional Greek restaurant. Of course you all know that this means I'll be posting about different dishes I eat and customs and information I learn. Hey, no one is forcing you to read this crap. However, my dish of the day is Dolmadakia. It is grape leaves stuffed with rice, scallions, and dill. Delicious.

Stop in over the summer! It's between Jamba Juice and Roly Poly in the Walk!
