RL: Somewhere on the dark side of Earth's Moon

[LOCKED TO NINE AND TEN, *SIGH* AND IF Q TURNS UP I'M SURE WE COULDN'T STOP HIM]

On the dark side of Earth's moon, a colossal grey box sits inside a crater.  Inside, the Master reclines in an armchair with a Tokay and awaits any of the Doctors.

((OOC:  When I say collossal I mean BIG, about the size of a cathedral))

While the two are chatting, a familiar sound can be heard, as the TARDIS materializes and Nine enters the scene. But...something's wrong.

...which is clearly visible when he steps out to greet the others.
Even if his ship did, the Time Lord did not fully materialize.

He raises his see-through hand, puzzled. "Oi, you two! What's going on?"

[timey_wimey]

Ten stares at the see-through version of his younger self for a moment. "Wow. That's strange."

He walks up to Nine, frowning, and gets out the - yes, you guessed it - infamous nerd glasses before putting them on.

"Maybe..." he muses, "It's because there's two of us here?"

"Don't be ridiculous. Remember you've had four incarnations meet up at once without incident before!"

*Pours self another Tokay*

"Oh, stop fighting, both of you." Still looking a bit puzzled, Nine eyes the two Time Lords.

He folds his arms, tilts his head to the side a little, then flashes a wide grin. "We're not going to let this stop us, are we now? I don't mind being see-through." The grin fades, as he adds, "Especially since we have more important matters at hand."

"Sorry," he adds, grinning apoligetically at Nine. "And you're right, we do."

Ten sighs as he replaces his glasses inside his pocket. "Ok. Well, someone on the community - Zack, I think his name was - offered something called materia. I was thinking of testing that to see if it worked."

[two_heartbeats]

"Materia?" He seems to ponder for a moment, then adds, "I think that's what Kadaj uses, too. Seemed to be quite powerful, so yup, could work."

Nine glances at the Master. "You haven't seen Kadaj around the community lately, have you?"

[timey_wimey]

"Kadaj? Who's Kadaj?" Ten says curiously.

[two_heartbeats]

"Long story short, he's JENOVA's son. Nice bloke, when he's not on a psychotic rampage." Nine grimaces a little, as he remembers Kadaj's violent outburst back when they were rescuing Yunalesca together.

"I'm sure he could help us, but I haven't seen him around in a while..."

[timey_wimey]

"Ah. JENOVA. Heard a bit about her... Still, if you - I? - oh, whatever say he's nice enough, then I'm happy. Still, if he's not around..." Ten shrugs. "Ahh well, it can't be helped. The Brigadier offered help, but that was before he found out about our old friend over there."

I'm amazed the man's even still alive.

"Really?" Ten says vaguely. "Oh yes, so I have. I forgot about that. Hmmm..."

He takes off the glasses and frowns. "Then that is... that is just plain weird."

He muses for a little while, then mutters almost inaudibly, "Could have something to do with how I regenerated..."
