(no subject)
From the mouths of babes...
Julia, my seven year old daughter, said this to me last night:
"Mama, I'm not trying to be mean or anything, but I don't like your glasses. They make you look nerdy."
Hahaha! I giggled and told her I like being a nerd, thankyouverymuch. We had a discussion about nerds actually being cool. Then she came up with this little gem:
"Maybe one day, like in high school or something, somebody will call me a nerd because I'm smart. But then after college I might own a building or something and they might be working for me and I'll fire them."
Sigh. So much for teaching tolerance, right?
