(no subject)
Had my proficiency exam yesterday…and I think I showed I was proficient…whatever the hell that means. The only thing I’d have changed was that after I did my three monologues, I didn’t take up the full 15 minutes explaining my process, but I was clear and concise I think…and hopefully that’s just as good as dragging it out to fill the time.

I watched “The Holiday” the other morning (yay for free HBO) and you watch movies like that, and people always ask “why the happy ending? Why not make it more true to life?” And I think the answer is simply this…if we watched movies that consisted of relationships, like the fucked up ones we all go through in life, and the movies ended the way a lot of our relationships end…there would be a much high suicide rate. We look to these cheesy romantic comedies to give us a little hope, and remind us that eventually, things work out.

Ladies, what is up with the “squinted eyes, puckered lips” pout face some of you do for pictures? Is that supposed to be sexy? I know some beautiful women who do that in pictures…and then you look at those pictures, and you’d never guess how beautiful they actually are. Is there some rumor going around that the pouty face is hot? If so, please be warned, someone is lying to you. In fact, if someone tells you that, run from that person, far and fast, because they wish ill upon you. So please, be careful when taking pictures. Friends don’t let friends make that scrunched up face in pictures…and if you see a friend starting to do it, remind them to just smile.

I’ve got a lot of work to get done…and I’m waiting for many other shoes to fall. So many decisions I have to make, and I can’t really make any of them without other info getting to me first. So all you people out there that I need answers from….get on it!

And the race is on...which will run out first, the money in my account or the time left in school till I go back to Indiana...it's gonna be a close one folks!
