(no subject)
I got my ASVAB test results back today. I had to miss 79 minutes of first period but..
I scored highest in the English stuff, then in Science, then in Math..
And it said I would do best in Investigative type careers. Psychiatrist was one of them. So yeah, that made me really happy.
When we got back, Tristan sat next to me after Mr. Enders (Health teacher) was done giving his lecture.
He stared at me for a while, and I finally turned to looked at him with a brow raised.
Tristan semi-waves his hand and smiled slightly. "Hey.. how's it going?"
I nodded slowly and avert his gaze and manage to say, "Pretty good.." Then after a few moments, I look back at him. I was a bit startled that he was still looking at me, so I say, "You gave me a weird look yesterday."
He looked startled this time, saying "I did...?"
"Yeah.. at lunch."
Tristan nodded and said, "Oh right. Well... I didn't want to step on your feet or anything."
I chuckle nervously and looked at my shoes. "But they weren't way out there [the hallway at lunch], they were over here [under me]."
He grinned and replied, "You have small feet."
I kind of rolled my eyes and laughed. "Thanks.."
Tristan stared a little longer, with that awkward silence, and then he finally says, "I've never seen an asian with blonde hair."
I nod silently, about to say that they were dyed, before Gavin interrupts talking about some song. Tristan starts talking to him, and sits on the desk next to him, (which is right behind me) and after Gavin was done, Tristan was looking at me again.
Well.. at me, or at Ashley, who was sitting in front of me.
Either way, it made me really happy that he paid attention to me today.
Even though I totally screwed up my chances with him becuse of my uneasiness.
