So I open up my e-mail last night and find a review on an old fic that I finished in the spring. I didn't realize until later that it was a bad!fic and one of my OCs was a Mary Sue. So I'm expecting to find a review telling me that I have a Mary Sue, because that's happened before.
Instead, I get this:
the idea of colby getting envolved with someone; even with dons daughter seems nice.
but you're writing like a six-year old!
"I'll take care of her"
"I'm happy."
You DO know that there are scentence which contain more than 6 words, don't you?
Thanks for the review, I guess? I can't take anyone seriously who don't capitalize names and can't spell involved or sentence. And yes, thank you for calling me a six year old! I really appreciate it. I sent a review reply (somewhat nasty, although I was trying to be nice) telling her that I know that it is a bad!fic and I have a Mary Sue. I told her that I admit that, but I wrote this fic months ago. I also told her I've since gotten a beta and hopefully I've improved since then.
And here's another review for a Bones fic (also a bad!fic, but I was just starting out) I wrote months ago:
I like the story in general. But why did you give the little girl such a strange name?
Um, I explained it in the fic. Explanation: Her name is Hope Faith because I needed both when Booth was shot. And since she was born on the anniversary of one of the worst days of our lives, we decided to go with that,” she answered. Hope Faith really isn't that strange either, is it?
