Intelligence: chiaaysa's journal entries are well constructed, articulate, and entertaining. They show, especially when she talks about her interests and her observations about the world around her, a great degree of intellect and insight. Her entries are quirky, almost cryptic at times, as well as interesting and made me want to read more....so much so that I added her to my friends' list.

9/10

Emotional Value: The emotional value of the entries lies in the witty, sometimes blunt manner in which she apparently addresses the world. I liked her brashness and wanted to know more about her. Many of her comments, combined with some outdated figures of speech, made me smile and nod in understanding. She posts with mood icons, sometimes customizing them, and the tone of the entry generally corresponds with the contents. Often the musical selection matches as well. Her thoughts and feelings are worked in among the chipper commentary about her daily events. She can switch from polite social chatter to subject matter of startling depth at a moment's notice.

10/10

Creativity: The creativity of this journal is inherent in the personality more than anything else. The journal uses a standardized layout which has been customized appropriately with a surrealistic impressionist landscape. The outline for the text boxes has also been customized with a soothing blue hatched line which blends well with the background image. Text is bolded and black, on a clean white background which made it easy to read. Some linkes are customized, others are not. I liked the journal title, which seems to be a combination of cliched movie titles. The user icons represent an eclectic range of tastes but fit comfortably with the surreal theme. She writes creatively and has a talent for making the most mundane of events worth reading about.

9/10

Individuality: chiaaysa is her own person, truly individual. Her narrative style utilizes quirky slang and phrases which are literally decades out of date but they don't seem stilted or artificial coming from her. The quirky personality with wry wit and generous use of light sarcasm is consistant throught the entries and it ties in nicely with the overall theme of the journal.

10/10

Courtesy and Grammar: Cuts were used on quizzes but not on photographs. She doesn't seem to have posted any song lyrics or surveys. She does have a few entries which dould have used cuts, though most of her entries aren't long enough to need them. She spells well and uses both grammar and punctuation appropriately. Occasionally, this is interrupted by Internet slang such as "OMG". Sometimes she swears and it really doesn't enhance the content of the journal when she does so.

8/10

Bio: chiaaysa has an interesting and creative bio. It doesn't give out personal facts but it does indicate the quirky personality found within. My curiosity was piqued...after I finished laughing about the scene it created in my head.

5/5

User Pics: She has fifteen icons, which is the maximum allowed on a paid account. The icons represent a wide range of humor or weirdness which blends well with the journal. Four of them didn't seem to mesh as well (unique snowflakes, POLAND!, the ostrich icon, and the dino x-ing) or didn't exhibit the degree of quirkiness found in the others.

4/5

Contactability: She does not list an e-mail address but does have an IM alias. Comments are enabled. She does not list a web site.

2/5

Impression: I was pleasantly surprised by this journal. It is sadly rather rare to find writing of such quality among this age group. I did not expect to be entertained or to like her and I ended up putting her on my friends list. I'm probably too old for her, but she seems like someone I'd love hanging out with.

5/5

Sense of Humor (Humour): She writes in a naturally entertaining manner. Nearly every entry caused me to smile or to chuckle. Even when the incident being described isn't particularly funny, she puts a humorous spin on it. It's almost as though she writes for an audience except I would suspect that she's honestly that funny in person.

5/5

Style: She writes consistently in a whimsical, satirical fashion. The entries flow well and have continuity.

5/5

Openness: The journal didn't appear to have any locked entries and she doesn't limit access to her journal. However, no one can remain upbeat at all times. I sensed that she either hides her deeply personal feelings behind private entries or else she doesn't talk about them and uses humor instead to gloss over them.

4/5

Quantity: In the past she's posted erratically, typically only two or three posts in a week with some months completely silent. The frequency of her posting has recently increased and now she does post something most days. The entries vary in length but are always just long enough to convey what she wants to say.

3/5

Live Journal Involvement: This is a paid account. She lists only thirty-five interests and has seventy-five friends. She belongs to two communities, one of which is paidmembers. 1876 comments have been posted and 2631 have bene received.

2/5

Bonus: Full points for being an unusual, unique individual able to balance maturity where it's needed with fun and goofing off or generally acting her age.
