trying to figure out why my facebook won't update

Looks like you got it to update. I'm trying to figure out how you got the LJ minifeed to work on Facebook. I can't get mine to work. I opened a ticket, but no one's replied to me yet. >:(

You have to change the settings in your LJ viewing options. THEN... you have to be logged in to Facebook during the time you post to LJ. Just figured this out today.

Click on journal and scroll down to viewing options. On the viewing options page, there is a header that says ADDITIONAL PRIVACY OPTIONS. Under that, five "bullet points" (for lack of a better word) down is the Facebook option. There is a clicky box that allows LJ to prompt you to post new, public entries to Facebook. I, however, have not received any prompts to do so. It just does it.

Mine is already set that way. I don't think my LJ updates are showing up on Facebook, though. (Are they?)

I'm not seeing them.

Make sure that you are logged into Facebook when you are updating LJ. It's the only way that I have been able to get mine to update.

It's really not a good system. :-P
