So now that I've made my peace with coffee via a truce forged in the colds of winter and the grueling hours of holiday catering, I like to dabble in in here and there. Lately, as I've been living with dialup internet access at the place where I'm housesitting, I've been jumping around Junction spots for wifi. Today brings me to the new Cafe Verite/Cupcake Royale, which I gotta say has obscenely fast internet. Coffee seems pretty good too, and I've verified that the cupcakes are enjoyable. I fear that my friends up at the abominably named Coffee to a Tea with Sugar may have switched to internet access for pay, but they might have just put a password on it. (to be fair, the "with Sugar" part refers to the business within their business, a bakery/catering operation) Maybe it was just cause I was outside, though. Bikes and Brew is always good, and they have bubble tea, if some odd hours. And hey, they do bike repairs too!
In other news, the Fourth of July was alright, a little hot tub, little alcohol, little fireworks, little fending Kurt off of Matinay. Will somebody find him a girlfriend? Between that and his personal crusade against Comcast, which may leave me with the DSL modem in my room (there's only one known phone jack, and a plethora of cable hookups) I've had it up to here, but not quite up to here. Other than that, I think I could enjoy living there.
Now's time to catch a bus.
