Originally uploaded by revgeorge. I generally have a horrible time in Chicago, but I still go there from time to time. Sort of like pounding your head with a hammer so that when you stop, no matter what else is wrong, at least you don't have that hammer banging against your head.

echolex had the day off on Thursday, so on Wednesday I suggested we go see the Body Worlds Exhibit. It's basically a bunch of people with their skin off, something that she's seen more of than me. It was really interesting and made me long for the day when we replace disgusting flesh with sleek robot parts. Also, it reminded me a bit of Akira.

What I didn't realize when I proposed the trip was that the Chicago Museum of Science and Industry was also hosting the Game On exhibit on the history and culture of video games.

I don't think she believes that I didn't have ulterior motives for going to Body Worlds, but I honestly didn't know that was going on. Once she told me I was 100% sold on Chicago.

Anyway, I uploaded a bunch of the pics from the Game On exhibit to Flickr (no photos allowed in Body Worlds). Out check them.
