my parents are so strange

So Old Navy calls me this morning "Hi Amanda, we don't acftually need your help, but we will call you in a week or two"

so i break the the news to the rents'. they were not happy. now they tell me i can't drive until i have a job. so i ask them how im going to get a job without driving to get an application. they tell me that i will "figure it out"

now i'm deeply confused.
