Go to Modified Arts on Monday, May 15th to see The Loveletter Band (States Rights Records), Joseph Childress, and French Quarter play songs to bring the house down with.
THE LOVELETTER BAND
With a new record as biting and desperate as a nuclear winter, Chris Adolph writes songs reminicent of a young, and dangerously jaded Bob Dylan. His live show is powerful and moving (anybody that saw him open for Jason Anderson in December @ Modified can attest to that). His frank songs about the lives we are given are so strong that it'll make your knees buckle. So, if you like knee-buckling, you have no excuse not to go.

This california man writes beautiful, so-pretty-that-you-weep folk songs that sound like lying in tall, green, grass in the middle of a pasture in a forested canyon where doves flutter about singing "awooo-oo-ooah-oo-ahooah-oo-ahooah".
