"CATS & THE STRANGE OLD MEN THAT LOVE THEM"

One of the downsides to owning four beautiful kitties is always speaking in a really large, over-exaggerated way, and never my regular speaking voice. I just can't help myself from gushing "Awwww, Look at the baby kitties! Who are the most precious things in the world???  That's right! Milo, Gladys, Rhonda, and Ralph are the most precious!" And then after my rambling, they then proceed to scratch, bite, or pounce on something in the cutest way imaginable.

Jennifer bought me a book today that William Burroughs wrote called The Cat Inside. It's this book all about his obsession with nuturing his cats named Calico Jane, Fletch, Ruski, Wimpy, and Ed, for he says love between a human and a cat is the purest, most unaltered form of love on the planet. A little far-fetched, but the book itself is really adorable, or as adorable as Burroughs can be.
