[It's nearly dark as the stars are popping into the sky. After all that has gone on, Aaeru has once again sought out the big hill by the park and is now sitting atop it, knees drawn to her chest as her eyes look to the sky. She's missed the sky and stars. She's wearing her usual attire, and her left arm is bandaged from the zombie attack she dealt with days ago]

"What would it be like to fly again?" she wonders to herself. Her eyes close for a moment as she pictures herself in the auriga cockpit, guiding the Simoun through the sky with ease, as though it were a second skin to her.

[Her eyes slowly open, a pleasant smile plastered on her face. The particular daydream always gives her a pleasant feeling inside, and she relishes the feeling since that's all she's got now. As her eyes focus in front of her, she suddenly gasps, and the pleasant smile on her face is suddenly replaced with one of fear.

"How did you--but you were dead!"

[Her body scoots back from the position she was in, as though she doesn't want to touch what she is seeing with a ten foot pole]

"I'm sorry! But I had to do it! We were going to be captured otherwise!"

[She pulls back again. She's seeing the dead soldier whose hands she had to cut off to escape with Limone. She sees the severed limb and feels sick to her stomach. Her face is contorted, as though she feels sick.]

"I had to! I had to!"

[She breaks down, sobbing as she tries to avoid the bloody wrists reaching out for her.]

"I can't help you! Leave me alone!"

[ooc: Aaeru doesn't really have any big fears, but she once had to cut off an Argentum soldier's hands. He'd died in the auriga cockpit of the Simoun she and the girl she was flying with shared had gone into rigor mortis while gripping the controls. She realized she had no choice but to cut off his hands with her pocket knife if she and Limone were to escape before other soldiers arrived. The event changed her attitude toward flying without permission, and it's always been my belief that this is something that has haunted her.]
