aloha 2005
nye started off with a nice overpriced fattening dinner at finnegans. then proceeded to hunt for clubs, which was hard with half the group being broke. settled in modestos for awhile before getting chased off by evil big burly man for not ordering enough :( group undecided and divided. went shopping instead and blingbling (:P) ended up with an amazing dress. sy ditched us (rar). night seemed to be going downhill. group went separate ways but rejoined forty five minutes before countdown. club-hopped again and finally settled for finnegans and had a raving mad time with timeless songs, sing-a-longs, crazy party packs, white men with their mistresses, table top dancing, and the apparently cute barman. went outside for air and was first attacked by a stupid tiny little indian girl with a foam can and then later mobbed by Amazingly Stupid People on the streets. goddamn stupid people. emerged alive. bumped into calvin and kimteck. chatted. supper. home.
good lord, it's 2005 and counting. the beginning of my twenties (i feel SO old. has yet to hit me that there is no turning back when it comes to age. you grow old, you look old, you hit thirty, new celebs will always be younger than you, o.O), final year of uni, and a chance to start an almost clean slate. aahhh...
