SPN Noir
To sum it up,
I felt like drawing a portrait of Castiel,
remembered aesc's really awesome Noir!AU ficturespam,
and ended up drawing him in noir. O_o
All done with graphite pencils on cartridge paper. Traditional art! Wheee!

Edit: I decided to include in random scans of my WIPs to keep a personal record of how i created my artwork. Uhm, you can skip to the completed one at the end if it does not interest you. :)
First I sketched out Castiel (and his fedora) and did some rough shading to establish the lighting and bring out his facial structure.
I originally intended to draw only Castiel, but he looked lonely, so i added Dean. XD
I couldn't think of an interesting background, so i decided to keep it simple so that it won't look too cluttered.
I was having trouble drawing Dean when i scanned this, which is why he doesn't have his right eye. -_-
And Castiel looks kinda weird in here cause i was still trying to get the toning right.
After lots and lots of shading later...
Yay! It's finally completed!
Then i desaturated it using Photoshop to make it totally black and white.
I'm really happy with how Castiel turned out, but i'm not so sure about Dean. I can't decide whether it looks like him or not. He looks too young i think.
I thought it'll look cooler with rain but i was too afraid of ruining the drawing. So i cheated and added it digitally. XD
