(no subject)
well, here goes with the post. here's how the past week has gone:
Saturday Joe called me at work to tell me that my hamster died. I had just cleaned her cage and was planning to upgrade and get her a bigger cage. Now I've got to bury her...I also would like to get another hamster. See if I can keep one alive longer than just a few months. *sigh*
Sunday I had to work. After work I came home to watch the AFC Championship game! I skipped church and ended up watching the game alone...well, with Pickles. The Steelers won, like I knew they would. Now we're going to the Super Bowl for the 8th time! Here's to our 7th ring! I had a good time acting like a fool while watching the game. I'm hoping to find someone to watch the Bowl with. I signed up to do sermon that day, but I won't be able to now since I'm not going to church. Sunday night, Joe's friend Matt came over to spend the night since he doesn't have a place to live...he brought his dog with him.
Monday was work again. Joe took me to work so that he could go and help Laurie change her tire. After he came and picked me up, we had a talk. We offered to let Matt stay with us until he could find a job and then get a place to live. I'm on the fence with wanting him to stay. He's Joe's friend and has been for a loooooong time. And I can't let someone stay on the streets. BUT he annoys the FUCK out of me. seriously. so, in the end we offered to let him stay on our couch. It's been a few days now and he's not entirely on my nerves yet. YET. he did find a job and started today, which is nice. anyway, that was Monday.
Tuesday I had a dentist appointment in the morning. got my cleaning and had a sore mouth for the rest of the day. My gums are sensitive :( discovered that I have two small cavities that need filled. After the appt I stopped at the store to get stuff to make breakfast then went home to cook. we had sausage and egg breakfast burritos. I took a nap, which was nice. except that I had to shut the door because Matt is so freaking loud. After the nap Joe tried to get me to go do something but wouldn't tell me what he wanted to do. We ended up going to the Witches Meetup at the Hong Kong Buffet. That was fun. met some new people, hung out with some great friends and had yummy chinese food :)
Wednesday was another day of work. It was alright. stayed busy the whole day doing tasks. we actually had a fairly good sales day. I kept Miranda busy so that she didn't spend the whole day texting and playing games on her phone. also it kept her at a safe distance. she has a seriously bad odor problem. How do you tell your employee that they fucking stink? Kevin and I need to say something soon though. Wednesday she only smelled like BO. usually she smells like wet dog, dirty feet, dirty ass, and armpit funk. all mixed in one. yeah, barftastic. After work I came home and changed clothes to go to church for Tarot class. I was in charge of opening the church so I got there early. This was the third week I've gone to class. I've learned the suits of Wands, Cups, and Swords so far. Numbers ace through ten. I figure that if I have the cards I may as well learn how to read them, right? After class I came home to hang out with Joe before bed.
Today was my day off. I had planned to sleep in but woke early to Pickles having another seizure. he had one yesterday morning too. He's had them before, but never two days in a row. :( so I spent the morning trying to comfort my dog then cleaning up puke and washing pukey clothes. I need to log it in my notebook before bed. After cleaning up and checking facebook and email this morning, I went back to bed with Pickles. I didn't get up until like 3 pm. it was nice to sleep. I filed my taxes today! so I hope to get my money soon :) over 1200 totaly coming back to me. I'm saving some for the Murder Mystery party in May. I need to pay off some of my bill that is in collections. I'm also going to buy EA Sports Active for the Wii. Joe and I are going to invest in a new bed this year too :) I can't wait. It's sad when you wake up in the morning because you're sore, not because you're not tired anymore. anyway, I'm currently sitting here updating my journal. Matt went to get some fixins for tacos. and Joe is supposed to be cooking tacos soon. not sure where he is actually, I think I'll go find him.
