I've always hated Keith Olbermann. He's a know-nothing blow-hard, throwing out comments about issues he's totally clueless about. True to form, Olbermann commented on the WWE's new drug policy, and I just had to drop the cocksmoker an e-mail to educate him. His comments are italicized.
Mr. Olbermann,
Your comments about the WWE's new drug testing policy were not only ignorant, they were downright slanderous.
"This coming from the business that used to demand their performers take steroids..."
The word "allegedly" would have suited you nicely. Vince McMahon and Titan Sports, Inc. were acquitted of all charges of distributing steroids in the now infamous 1994 trial. To my knowledge, no other professional wrestling promotion, or its owner, has ever been convicted of steroid distribution.
"The announcement today that an independent agency will test the wrestlers of the WWE, World Wrestling Entertainment, for roid use. This supposedly in the wake of the death of 38 year old wrestler, Eddie Guerrero, possibly from steroid related heart disease..."
You obviously know nothing about the life and death of Eddie Guerrero. A quick Google search from your staff would have provided you with ample information about Guerrero's hard life of alchol and drugs. To use him as an example is disgusting, especially considering that his family is still in the healing process. If you take a look at some of the wrestlers that have died within the last five years, you would find much better examples of people who have abused steroids. However, you will find that most died due to self-medicating with pain killers.
"And yes, this does sound as phony as any of wrestling's other plot lines, including its latest road trip to Afganistan to "supposedly" salute the troops. Ours im assuming..."
What exactly have you done for our troops overseas from up on your soapbox?! This is another fine example of your ignorance, and it also shows what a complete lack of class you have. You, sir, are an asshole.
