50,193 words. So. I'm finished with the word count, but the story is crap and meanders far too much. In fact there's this one place where I get really bored and start writing something completely different, then half-assedly tie it in by saying it's a "dream sequence." Heh. Dream sequence.
Story's not entirely done either. Has too many extraneous parts, and there are some bits in the middle where I just say "and then this happens, and everyone rejoices" instead of actually writing dialogue and description. It's just that...I wrote the end. The end is done. The last line has been WRITTEN. Obviously can't work on it any more, at least not tonight. Because it's done.
