Yesterday was my birthday...one I didn't really want to celebrate and one that I didn't mention to many people...It was a good day...went to work and met the new seventh graders, had a ripping guitar workout with Chris G., and ate some delicious vegan curry that I made. I'm back on the bike--commuting to work, and I took one of my sponsees and his wife on a thirteen mile climb in the gorge on Sunday...so, although chronologically I'm advancing in years, I'm still pretty darned strong--especially considering what my body has been through...
Some of the people who care about me called to wish me "feliz cumpleanos"...it's nice to know that I have a small but wonderful circle of friends...David gave me one of his paintings...Junior Brown rocking the git-steel....from a concert we saw in June....I now have 5 of his paintings hanging in my house....
Life is good, and I'm grateful for the people who make my life richer....
