Satnav security

I just heard a sad story about thieves breaking into a family's car and stealing the satnav device whilst the car was parked at Alton Towers. The thieves then used the 'Home' setting in the satnav to find the family's home, which was empty, and steal lots of their stuff including another car.

So here's an idea I came up with. Set the 'Home' setting on your satnav to the local police station so anyone trying this doesn't end up quite where they expect. Then use a different location for home.
