Oh yes, ladies and gentlemen. From 8AM to noon for each Monday through Thursday for the rest of the month, you will find me up in Wooten Hall, Room 321, learning about comparative politics.
In truth, the course won't be that bad at all. I glanced through one of the textbooks, and the chapter I skimmed over dealt with different democratic political models. It sounds kind of dry. But once I get into that mind-set, I actually do find that sort of thing interesting. And with this course being a morning as opposed to an afternoon class, it's forcing me to get back to a good sleeping routine, which should be manageable, provided I don't stay up half the night listening to old Rocky Jordan radio cerials from the 1940's. Stupid Rocky Jordan and his captivating story arks.
When I do finish up with this class on May 30, I plan to do a second Drunk Zone this month. The first, which was off to a wonderful start, can be downloaded
here. Just as I was getting into a nice groove, the stupid power went out! We're still not sure what happened exactly, but the power went out around 12:30 in the morning, just as I was about to get into beer number three. The power came back around 2:30 or so, but by that point I just wanted to sleep. So I did. But I'll make up for it at the end of the month. You can count on it!
Well I suppose I should head for home. I think a slight nap might be in order. I apologize for the lack of an eighteen-billion-paragraphed update here, but I do need to write more frequently.
