Hey fellas. I'm going to have an EP out sometime in the near future, and a show to go along with said EP. But in the meantime, here's the lyrics to some songs I've written.

Homeward Bound

Woke up today
And I’m a million miles away
The air is clear
But I know I’m not welcome here
You look so nice
In this hazy moonlit night
I’d fall in love
But this is not where I belong

I’m homeward bound
And I know this time around
I’m gonna find something real
Oh, your eyes have told me
All I need to know
I can throw it all away
‘Cause I’m finally coming home

You looked so strange
So I tried to rearrange
Your sunken face
But there was nothing to replace
It’s not even dawn
And all my friends have come and gone
I feel so low
But it’s time I hit the road

I’m homeward bound
And I know this time around
I’m gonna find something real
Oh, your eyes have told me
All I need to know
I can throw it all away
‘Cause I’m finally coming home

Watch me go
Walking down the dusty road
The screen goes wide
As the credits hit the sky

I’m homeward bound
And I know this time around
I’m gonna find something real
‘Cause I know I feel
So damn low
I just want to go back home
Am I finally coming home?

The Good Life

I understand too well what I don’t think she’ll over know
And I know that if we keep this up, we’re never gonna grow
So I’m waiting for the good life
Good life’s gonna make it if we try
Now, here alone, reflecting on the way it should have been
I cannot help but realize she had to let me in
As we waited for the good life
Good life’s gonna make it if we try
Well, I ain’t holding on this time
‘Cause I know soon enough she’ll find
That there’s nothing in this world that won’t shine

As these years keep getting shorter; looking back, it’s funny how
I thought when I got older I would have it figured out
As I waited for the good life
Good life’s gonna make it if we try
With every passing day, I got to know you more and more
But now your face is so distorted, I can’t see it anymore
Well I ain’t holding on this time
‘Cause I know soon enough she’ll find
That there’s nothing in this world that won’t shine

They say the grass is always greener on the other side
Well whose side am I on anyways, and who the fuck’s on mine?
The next time that I see you, you’ll be somewhere that I’m not
And we’ll smile to each other, showing off our sunken hearts
But I ain’t holding on this time
‘Cause I know soon enough she’ll find
That there’s nothing in this world that won’t shine on

Too Much, Too Soon, Too Late

These kids across my street, they sing and dance all day
They can see what I’ve been too alive to ever see
They’re singing “Too much, too soon, too late”
“Too much, too soon, too late”
I guess I’m losing touch
I must be losing touch

These birds up on a tree sing while the rooster crows
They know what I’ve been much too tired to ever know
They’re singing “Too much, too soon, too late”
“Too much, too soon, too late”
I guess I’m losing touch
I must be losing touch

And though you’ve left my life, I still remember when
You made me feel what I will never feel again
And you still sing “Too much, too soon, too late”
“Too much, too soon, too late”
I must be losing touch
When did I start losing touch?
