TGIF my ass. Nuff said.
It's kinda funny, my alarm just went off on my watch telling me it's time to lock up the shop and head for home. It's Friday, looking foward to the weekend, and all arounds good times, right? For me? No. At 1:30 this afternoon, I was told my services were no longer needed. In a nutshell, fired. The offical write up states that my probation was up and I was not needed. So I can file for unemployment if need be. And they gave me two weeks pay and my vacation time as well. What makes me laugh is that they said up front, they have noone to fill the spot, and the only other person who can do my job is out for an extended amount of time. Is it just me, or does this not make sense to anybody else? Oh well. Life goes on regardless of what we do. On a good note, I now have plenty of time to do the stuff around the house I have been trying to get to.
