[fringe] down down lucifer

Mar 11, 2016 08:20

Down Down Lucifer is an excellent play written and acted by Philippe Klaus (Wolf Creek 2 amongst other credits), who plays the titular character to great effect. Now I've a very soft spot for stories of Lucifer's fall. Klaus definitely joins the ranks of Milton, de Chardin, Brust, Carey, Russell, and Cook in an excellent portrayal of The Morningstar as he plots to create the anti-Christ and desperately please his Father.

Brilliantly performed. The trailer just doesn't do it justice. [ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tDkl1RiKABI ]

5 (Morning)stars.
